About the NFC Forum

The NFC Forum, http://www.nfc-forum.org, was launched as a non-profit industry association in 2004 by leading mobile communications, semiconductor and consumer electronics companies. The Forum's mission is to advance the use of Near Field Communication technology by developing specifications, ensuring interoperability among devices and services and
educating the market about NFC technology. The Forum's 130 global member companies currently are developing specifications for a modular NFC device architecture, and protocols for interoperable data exchange and device-independent service delivery, device discovery and device capability.

About SEPE

The Federation of Hellenic Information Technology & Communications Enterprises (SEPE) is a non-profit organisation in Greece, established in 1995. 
The membership base of SEPE comprises of over 400 companies that collectively hold more than 95% of the country's turnover in the Information Technology and Telecommunications Industry. 
The main objectives of SEPE are to promote Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in Greece and to enlarge the ICT Industry's market. SEPE also represents the interests of the Greek ICT Enterprises vis-à-vis the Greek Government, the European Commission and other bodies of influence.
This is accomplished via its membership to the European Industry Association for Information Systems, Communication Technologies and Consumer Electronics (
DIGITALEUROPE), the World Information Technology and Services Alliance  (WITSA), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and other bodies of influence.

About HAMAC

The Hellenic Association of Mobile Application Companies (HAMAC), is a non-profit organization comprised of high-tech companies whose business activities include the development of added value mobile applications, the provision of added value services for telecommunication providers, the provision of innovative communication, content and application services.

The Association represents a vibrant sector of more than 80 companies participating, which comprise approx. 90% of the total domestic turnover of mobile industry, provide employment to more than 4.000 people, including one thousand professionals of the highest academic education. Additionally, the members of the association collect more than 400M€ turnover and have presence in more than 40 countries. Some of these companies are already expanded and distinguished as worldwide leaders in the mobile services market, provide services  to the largest telecom operators globally, are listed on Stock Markets of London LSE/AIM and achieve substantial growth both in national and international level.
